Even the coldest Winter days can warm the heart! Emma & Joey’s New York Winter Wedding holds the statement to be true, as the two were married in a lovely ceremony in at the Bellport Country Club on Long Island, New York. Their families came together on a snowy Saturday morning to see the two wed. The crisp beauty of winter was the perfect scene for elegance and romance.
Emma and Joey began their romance in high school, supported by their lifelong friend and mentor, their science teacher. Who was present at their wedding day by the way! Living hundreds of miles from home, the pair moved to Maryland for work, where we had the pleasure of meeting them through our yearly couple session Giveaway. At their engagement session, we knew right away that their wedding was going to be fun. See for yourself! For their wedding they returned to their home town to be surrounded by their closest friends and family members.
Emma, her mother, and her maid of honor, prepared for the ceremony in the spacious bridal suite. There was plenty of space and mirrors for the ladies to make their final touches to gowns and makeup. The groom on the other hand, enjoyed a comfortable locker room with his best man and the two fathers. A perfect fit for the guys!
The couple embraced their snow-themed winter wedding ceremony. Emma’s bouquet consisted of stunning winter tones and the elegant details throughout the venue were fashioned to match her flowers: lilac and purple. Purple flower pedals lined the aisle of their ceremony while white floral arrangements hung from the chairs. Classy white and glittery tree branches reminiscent of snow-covered trees adored the the rooms. In the reception room, the tables even had little favors with snowflakes on them! Everything was brought to life and any winter’s chills disappeared inside the venue!
After the couple said “I do”, the reception was full wing with a tasty “brunch” menu complete with brisket, cheese tortellini, sweet baked goods, bacon and ham, sausage, and pancakes. The crowd favorite was the full waffle bar with scrumptious toppings such as chocolate syrup and all the fruit fixings you can imagine. We were surrounded by love that left us breathless.
The reception ended with, a first for us, a streamer send off!
Before they rode off to enjoy their honeymoon, the couple was even brave enough to venture out to a snowy field for one more couple photo to cap off the day. Congratulations Emma and Joey!
