Here are some answers to the most frequently asked questions you may have. We hope you find this section helpful. Where are we based?

We are based in Maryland about 15 minutes south of the DC Beltway in the north end of Charles County.

How would we describe our style?

We have a casual and friendly approach with a journalistic viewpoint. We are interested in recording your special day including all the genuine emotions. We use our creative eye to capture what unfolds around us – the real moments. We love incorporating a mix of artistic creativity with our passion for story telling. With our photographs, we want to make your narrative come to life.

What inspires us? 

Emotion. Family. Togetherness. Life. That is what inspires us. Every individual has a unique story, and we are motivated to capture it in photographs. We cherish the affection of family and the warm feeling of individuals enjoying the people they love. The key to inspiration is happiness. For us, preserving moments, documenting events, and creating visual memories is truly rewarding. We are so proud to be a part of such joyful moments with beautiful people that encourage us every day.

What are our rates? 

As every wedding is different, every couple has completely different needs. We base our cost on an individual basis for each client we take. Our wedding packages start at $2200 and our portrait sessions start at $300.

Why should I make the investment? 

The wedding photographer you choose plays one of the most important roles on the day of your special event. While nothing is more important than the bride and groom, the photographer you chose is the one who captures the story of your special day. While experience and technical know-how are a must, we pride ourselves in observing the people and things happening around us. We are in a sense, professional people watchers! Knowing when to wait and when to take a photograph can make the difference. We are skilled and trained to understand light and camera settings for a particular moment. We have experience posing couples. We are equipped with professional gear and always carry back-ups: two cameras; an extra or different mm lens, flash, extra memory cards and batteries. You never know when a single camera will fail. We are creative and guarantee a variety of angles and artistic composition. Photography is our job. We are there to give you the best pictures possible for one of the most memorable days of your life. We want your photos to last forever. We will not miss the important moments in the wedding, but we will definitely capture the funny, candid, and moving ones too. You can enjoy your wedding without any concern that the job will get done just as you expected.

Do we travel for weddings?  

Yes we do! We love to travel to new and exciting places! We are available worldwide. We are fluent in English and Italian, and proficient in Spanish. Our standard pricing is inclusive for weddings in the MD/VA/DC metro area. If your wedding is elsewhere, additional fees may apply. Contact us with details about the location and we will send you a custom quote.

Should we do an engagement session?

Yes! First, an Engagement session is a great opportunity to capture photographs of the couple prior to their wedding. You can use these photos to announce your love to the world! Typically, engagement shoots produce the photographs that couples use to send out their engagement announcements or their save the date cards.  Secondly, an engagement session is important for us as photographers to get to know you. We can see how to best pose you and how you react to the camera. Lastly, having an engagement session is a great chance for you to get to know us! We want you to be extremely comfortable with use. We feel that couples we have photographed previously, tend to be a little more relaxed in front of the camera on their wedding day.

Do we design and print save the date cards?

Yes! We can make custom designs and tailor cards or announcements to your specifications. Ask about our designs today!

What is a first look?

A first look is when the bride reveals herself to the groom before the ceremony takes place. It’s generally the first time the groom gets a peek at his bride to be and can make for a very dramatic moment. It also is a great way to calm the nerves down on your big day.

What gear do we use?

We use Nikon professional Cameras and Lens. All of our cameras are state of the art and produce high-resolution image files capable of making large prints if desired.

Do we shoot film or digital format?

We photograph entirely in digital format. Although, we do accommodate clients who request film coverage.  We are fully experienced and capable of producing professional quality images on 35mm and medium format cameras.

How many photos will I get?

Every wedding is different, but for the average seven-hour wedding, we deliver between 850 to 1000 images.

What are our albums like?

We work with a few premium vendors and we are always looking for new ways to keep the freshest most modern products so we can offer them to you. All the albums we currently use are professionally bound material of your choosing, flush mount premium pages and made with archival materials. Our albums are 100% designed by us, custom to every client, and tailored to your specifications. We pride ourselves in proving the best layout and quality.

Why should I get an album?  

Albums are absolutely great!  They not only tell the story of your special day, they showcase your event to your family and friends for generations to come. A photograph in a frame or on the wall only tells part of the story, with an album the entire event can be viewed from beginning to end, just like a storybook. After your wedding is over, you will have the chance to revisit that day by flipping through the beautiful images. More practical reasons to have an album are that technologies change rapidly and digital copies can be lost. We cannot always trust electronic media to archive our precious moments. A traditional album is less likely to get lost, and will be around for a long time. You can protect these cherished photographs and preserve your memories over time. Ultimately, when you look back, you will be glad to have one!

How long will it take to receive my photos?

You will receive your digital copies 10-14 days after your event. You will be able to view your entire event and order prints at your convenience.

When will I receive my albums?

If you order a custom photo album, please allow an additional two weeks for album(s) to be designed. After album design has been approved, your album will be sent to production and could take from two to four weeks to be made depending on the season.

How do we move forward with the booking process?

Booking us is simple. A $1000 retainer and a signed contract will reserve your date.

When is my final payment due?

Final payment is due two weeks (14 days) prior to your event date.

Are our images available for licensing?

At this time our images are not available for licensing. All images are for clients’ personal use. We retain all copyright and US Copyright laws protect our images.

Do we offer framing?

We are sorry, but at this time we do not offer custom framing. However, we can recommend a local custom frame shop for you.
