This down-to-earth couple really loves the outdoors! And for their engagement session, Amanda and Matt really wanted to have Washington DC’s cherry blossoms as a highlight! We really lucked out in doing this cherry blossom engagement session right during peak bloom.
We met the couple bright and early, like reeeaallly early, right before at sunrise! We ventured together to the water front at Washington DC’s tidal basin to capture them as the sun rose in the background of the Jefferson Memorial.
Amanda and Matt are planning a lovely wedding in southern Maryland in 2019. They were our winners for our Annual Engagement Session Giveaway. Perfect timing for their upcoming nuptials! Being local to Southern Maryland ourselves, we were really excited to meet them and find out the many things we had in common. Very shy at first, they quickly warmed up to our cameras and shows us the real love they have for one another. We couldn’t have asked for a better morning.
