Summertime during a pandemic surely makes us want to head to beach. Luckily, we have a few local spots where we can enjoy the breeze and dip our toes. So, we are happy to share this Southern Maryland Beach Engagement at Piney Point.
After booking us for their upcoming wedding, this awesome couple mentioned that they wanted a location that meant a lot to them for their engagement photos. Lauren had the perfect spot in mind! The place the couple has spent many summer months throughout the years, Piney Point, Maryland. With private family-owned beach front property, of course, we jumped on the chance to be there! Plus, Piney Point is also the location where Brent got down on one knee and proposed to the Lauren. Nothing could be more fitting. And, we love photographing beach sessions! They are always vibrant and full of playful fun vibes – Lauren and Brent’s Southern Maryland Beach Engagement was all of these and more!
Lauren and Brent are so friendly. They are a super laid-back couple and were very natural in front of our cameras. They are genuinely so cute that we barely had to give them any directions! We loved getting to know them and it was very cool to have them show us around the family beach and adjoining property. Although, we are no strangers to Piney Point and its’ charming lighthouse. We sometimes venture there with family and have taken our dogs to enjoy an afternoon walk and swim. If you keep an eye on our Instagram stories, from time to time, you may see clips of my sister’s retrievers Rosie and Tilly swimming in the water. It is one of the cool little hidden gems of Southern Maryland. Moreover, there are always good sunsets if you go at dusk.
Speaking of sunsets… you know we had to take advantage of them for this session. Even made all the mosquito bites worth it. Congratulations to Lauren and Brent. We are really looking forward to your wedding next year!
