One of the most unique events we participated in this year was a celebrant Mexican American Wedding in Brooklyn. Embracing the colorful palette, we absolutely loved all the details of this Mexican themed Styled Shoot.

Moreover, it was all about  paying tribute to the Anniversary of the Battle of Puebla. Importantly, the defeat in Puebla became a symbol of Mexican resistance and triumph. Today, the holiday is highly celebrated by Mexican-American communities. That is to say, it’s not only a day to memorialize the battlebut above all, a day to honor Mexican heritage. The shoot was led by a proud Latina boss lady, Cristina, of  Hermosa Weddings and Events. Certainly, her source of inspiration was the warm traditions of her Mexican culture.
From the bride and grooms attire, in addition the clay dishes, every aspect of this wedding contained details that would describe just that!  Of course, we couldn’t forget the sombrero! The two-tier cake was a softly hand painted on the top tier but the base, as a result, gave a copper-like textured illusion.  The sugar succulents contrasting the bright colored sugar flowers consequently were perfect adornments!  Abelisa from Maple Field floral created the most stunning color-block bouquets and floral decor. In other words, color color color!

To sum up, filled with bright splashes of colors, the entire day had us shouting FIESTA!
