June shouldn’t be the only time to celebrate LGBTQIA rights.
However, since it is the official month dedicated to raise awareness, we finally wanted to share this very special LGBTQ Brooklyn Wedding #pride shoot. A couple years ago we attended the annual Love Union conference. As a result, we had the honor in participating in a LGBTQ Brooklyn Wedding shoot.
Taking place at the Green Building, one of Brooklyn’s most popular wedding venues, Color Pop Events put together a colorful celebration featuring the world of the infamous artist, Jeff Koons. Although the space was filled with Jeff Koon’s balloon animal sculpture replicas, above all, the real theme of this wedding was #lovewins. However, let’s highlight the balloon animals that were found on Madin’s bowtie, in this instance!
Overall, we really loved the acrylic laser cut table numbers and name cards and the colorful dish-ware. Certainly, the vibrant colors were represented throughout the day. First, Sabine’s stylish bouquet. Then, her bright red lipstick really balanced the florals perfectly. Moreover, Sabine’s clean satin wedding gown matched Madin’s black and white suit impeccably.
We had the chance to meet real life married couple, Sabine Maxine and Madin Lopez, from Los Angeles. Madin and Sabine are both inspirational individuals constantly advocating for equal rights. Both are founders and members of non-profit groups giving back. Madin is the founder of Project Q. Meanwhile, Sabine owns and operates an online vintage clothing shop called A Tribe Called Queer.
The couple was pleasure to work with and provided lots of sweet opportunities for our cameras. We are very thankful to have had them as our models.
