2015, is it really over?! We can’t believe it is time to wrap up another year! So here it is, the ‘Year in Review’ post! This post is so special (and such a labor of love) because we’re sifting through somewhere around 50 unique galleries to compile our favorites. We cannot help but get a little emotional as we look back through these images and are reminded of the love we have received from our amazing clients and now friends. We are so grateful to have a career that we love and that we have the pleasure of working with so many extraordinary couples, families, wedding professionals, editors, and creatives throughout the year! Thank you to all our clients, family, and friends who take the time to read our blog and support our Facebook page – our business wouldn’t be what it is without you.
This year has definitely been one for the books! We revamped our business, dedicated more time than we ever have on photo sessions, planned and completed our first stylized shoot that was successfully published, and Alie got her master’s in Museum Studies.
To our Charming 2015 Couples: Thank you for giving us the opportunity to document incredible and important moments in your lives. You invited and trusted us the spend the most intimate day of your life with you and we are so grateful and humbled. Thank you for treating us like family.
To our Charming 2015 Families: We are honored to have collected so many memories. We witnessed child births, birthdays, and overall the joy of family. We will treasure these moments forever.
We are kicking off 2016 by expanding our reach, accepting weddings and portrait sessions in New York City. We are going to launch a new website and an upgraded version of our brand. We will begin the hopeful process of bringing on assistants or associate photographers. Some of our other big goals for 2016 are: 1) Collaborate in exciting projects with new vendors; 2) Shoot a wedding in another country; and 3) Expand our knowledge as artists through education and practice. Of course, we also have amazing brides to look forward to! We are beyond excited to work with each and every one of them. We have a few spots left and look forward to adding new clients to our treasured list.
To our 2016 future Charmed Couples: We are so excited that it is your turn! We are looking forward to laughing with your family, crying tears of joy with you on your precious milestones, and maybe even dancing with you at your wedding! Thank you for choosing us and we cannot wait to share your stories.
