A couple months ago we organized our first wedding stylized shoot, which was successfully published in Charm City Wed. We really wanted to showcase the beauty of nature and the autumn season.
There is no “right” way to throw a wedding and breaking traditions to make your special day unique is key. Our personalized look to the very popular woodland theme, was attained by purchasing budget-friendly items at our local stores and yard-sales, and exploring the possibility of incorporating DIY projects.
Our photographs aim to inspire the bride who wants to include her closest friends and family in a picture perfect location that is obtainable and realistic. We designed a dreamy, yet comforting, intimate setting by depicting tranquility and serenity in a raw and wild location.
We chose to incorporate common forest elements such as owl figurines, pine cones, and moss, and combine them with unique details from the maple syrup vile favors adorned with deer charms to the blue crystal dishware! Nature was the main part of the inspirations for this romantic forest wedding, so it was important to stay within that theme.
The chemistry between our models, Martha and Dylan, is undeniable! When our male model and Musician, Dylan Galvin took the stage (empty field) for an impromptu acoustic guitar serenade, we captured it to show what a “real” interaction between a couple on their special day looks like.
Stone Werks provided a beautiful hand-restored table. Charming Grace Events helped with the styling of the entire setting. We had a very fun day on location and a great turn out of vendors who participated in daily tasks, including an awesome group selfie! The Friends of Jerusalem Mill were wonderful and accommodated us in their precious and beautiful historic site. We thank all the vendors who made this happen as it couldn’t have been done without them!
