We met Sarah and Matt on a Friday evening for their DC Wharf engagement session just before the crowds started pouring into the area, as they do every weekend after dark. It was nice to see the Wharf during sunset hours as the area certainly has a different vibe! The stars of the evening were our couple, Sarah & Matt. As soon as we met them, we knew they were going to be a lot of fun and would bring great energy to the session.
Sarah & Matt, originally from the area, now transplants to the state of Texas, are planning their upcoming wedding here in the DMV amongst their family and friends. Coincidentally, they happened to be visiting the DMV this particular weekend two celebrate another one of their friends’ engagement. Perfect time to squeeze in an engagement session!
We have to give Sarah and Matt all the credit for these wonderful photos. They braved the weather like rock stars and brought their warm Austin vibes to the party! It’s not easy to pose for the camera when the weather is on the chilly side and this particular evening the wind blowing off the water reminded us that it was still winter in Washington, DC. Congratulations to the couple!
