DC Cherry Blossom Family Session: Emma, Joey, & Rosalie -

A Family Session at Washington DC Cherry Blossoms is just wonderful! Rosalie just turned 1 and she has grown so much since the last time we met the family for Holiday Photos for their Christmas cards. We had the most gorgeous morning at the Tidal Basin. The cherry blossoms were in full-bloom… which you know what that means?! The absolutely prettiest time of the year in DC!

Although the basin was, as expected, inundated with crowds, we made the best of it and managed to find a few secluded areas. Casually we took photos of their beautiful baby girl, adorable is an understatement! Rosalie was all smiles and loved to run around and touch the blossoms. She was instantly comfortable with us and frankly, everyone around her too. She adores dogs so she’d quickly and fearlessly walk to and hug every one that would cross her path, big or small! She truly had the most genuine expression of happiness which made the session fun for us all. Alie even walked her around while her mom and dad got some shots of their own by Richie.

We are so happy to have captured these seemingly ordinary moments for this family to one day look back to with a smile. We can’t wait for their next session later this year!
