Alex and Jason first met in DC, so when they asked to do their engagement photos there during the holidays, it was perfect timing for all of us to get together! They choose the Lincoln Memorial as the backdrop for their session and we were more then happy to meet them there. As we were walking up to the Lincoln Memorial that morning, we knew right away that the couple excitedly coming towards us was Alex & Jason. We loved their energy and their pure expressiveness together. These two are clearly in love!
It was a pretty quiet morning in DC and since we started early, the foot traffic at the Lincoln was thankfully lite, but we still met a few tourists and some photographers who were shooting on film! 😉
One fun part of the session for us was watching Alex & Jason walk and seeing them holding hands down the path by the reflecting pool. Jason insisted that he remove his coat for photos so he can be as cold as Alex was.
Watching him offer his arm while they walked down steps was a sure sign that he was a true gentlemen.
Alex and Jason will be married in upstate New York this summer. The two are planing their intimate event on there family’s property by a lake. We can’t wait for summer to see these two wed!
